BeautifySJ's Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services Department presented their RV Bio-waste Pollution Prevention Program (RVP3) offering safe removal of discharge and human waste from RVs and other lived-in vehicles. The Los Angeles Sanitation Bureau (LASAN) Livability Services Division shared their programs like CARE/CARE+ (Cleaning and Rapid Engagement Team), about citywide/multi-departmental Vehicle Dwelling Operations, and the mayor's RV Solutions Task Force. As illegal disposal site issues continue statewide, regulations, LEA's role and enforcement, collaboration, and additional site activity (material specific) were topics covered. Updates from subcommittees, members, partners, and resources were also shared. Presentations & other meeting material available in the IDTAC GDrive.

The IDTAC strategy to help combat illegal dumping is “PACE” Prevention, Abatement, Cleanup, Enforcement. Sometimes referred to as “PACE(O)” to incorporate the outreach/education component. 3E’s Strategy also recognized.
