$3.2 Million Available for Tire Incentive Program

Grant Details
CalRecycle provides the Tire Incentive Program to expand commercial (business) demand for higher value-added tire-derived products (TDPs) by providing financial incentives to eligible manufacturers to competitive price and market their TDPs, thereby increasing sales and market share. We anticipate announcing grant awards during CalRecycle's October Public Meeting.
Funding
- $3,200,000 available for fiscal year 2024-25.
- The minimum is $25,000 and the maximum is $650,000 per grant award.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible Applicants:
- Manufacturers that produce an eligible product.
- Waste tire processors that also manufacture an eligible product.
- Manufacturers of devulcanized rubber.
- Rubber compounders.
- Manufacturers that produce calendared rubber sheet products.
- Manufacturers that produce products on a contract basis for other companies provided they have that other company’s written permission to produce an eligible product and receive the incentive.
