Traffic Alert: Roads Closed for Festivals!
 Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio will bring thousands of music lovers to the area over the next three weekends, April 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27. Traffic will be heavy on the streets surrounding the Polo Fields, starting on the Thursday prior to the festival through the Monday after the festival.
Closed streets include:
- Avenue 50 between Jackson and Madison streets
- Avenue 49 between Monroe and Hjorth streets
- Madison Street between Avenues 49 and 50
- Madison Street between Avenues 50 and 52 during egress each night (9:30 p.m.-3 a.m.)
- Avenue 51 between Monroe and Madison streets
- Hjorth between Avenues 49 and 50

In partnership with FIND Food Bank, the City of La Quinta participates in bi-weekly food distribution (food bag/box for each household) to Coral Mountain, Hadley Villas, Vista Dunes, Washington Street Apartments, and Wolff Waters Apartments.
