RPOSD's Grants System Is Getting an Upgrade — Here's What You Need to Do
RPOSD Grants System Offline April 25–May 18
Dear Grantees and Registered GMS Users,
RPOSD is upgrading to a new, modern grants management system to make working with us easier and faster. As part of this upgrade, the current grants management system (Legacy GMS) will be shut down starting April 25, 2026 for up to three weeks, through approximately May 18, 2026.
What You Need to Know
- The Legacy GMS will be turned off on April 25, 2026. Starting on this date, all users — including RPOSD staff — will not be able to log in, submit, or review anything in the system.
- Submitted, pending workplans and payment claims will be saved and migrated to the new system.
- Any unsubmitted draft payment claims and workplans will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- RPOSD will do its best to review all pending workplans and payment claims prior to the shutdown, but we cannot guarantee that items submitted very close to the deadline will be processed before the shutdown. To avoid any last-minute issues, we encourage you to submit workplans and payment claims as early as possible.
- Once the new system opens, RPOSD will be able to access claims that were submitted before the shutdown date. While we anticipate the migration to be seamless, there may be a need for grantees to populate information in the new system.
Required Training
- During the shutdown, RPOSD will hold required training sessions to walk you through the new system. You will receive a separate email soon with registration details and training dates.
- All grantees and registered users are required to attend. Some inactive users will be required to re-register for access to the system.
If you have any questions or need help before the April 25, 2026 deadline, please email us at grants@rposd.lacounty.gov.
