EP

Every Body Plays is a free, drop-in recreation program offered by the LA County Department of Parks & Recreation. Led by trained and caring staff, the program provides a safe and welcoming environment where youth can build friendships, explore creativity, stay active, and learn new skills through hands-on activities.

DPSS

Starting April 1, 2026, certain non-citizens will no longer be eligible to receive CalFresh benefits. However, you may be eligible for CalFresh if your immigration status changes to Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) and you meet all other eligibility requirements. Learn more at Keep Your Benefits.


Taxes

Receive free assistance from volunteer IRS-certified tax preparers and claim your tax credit. Those eligible may get cash back through the California Earned Income Tax Credit, Federal Earned Income Tax Credit, California Young Child Tax Credit, and California Foster Youth Tax Credit. VPAN

LA County Veterans can connect with the Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN) for transportation assistance to medical appointments, housing-related services, and other essential needs. VPAN helps coordinate rides, connect Veterans with VA shuttle services, and identify public transit options, including potential eligibility for extended Lifeline TAP Card benefits. The Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department establishes judgments for parentage, as well as establishes, modifies, and enforces orders for child support. The Department has more than 1000 employees, including over 86 attorneys, and in 2025, collected and distributed more than $512 million in child support. The department's core purpose is to ensure children thrive, with a mission of connecting with parents and caregivers to provide child support services.
