 In LA County, the work to create a budget is a year-round process. And that means lots of opportunities for the public to get involved and better understand how taxpayer dollars are spent.

10th Annual Women's Fire Prep Academy Registration is Open!
 On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the Los Angeles County Fire Department welcomes individuals to compete for a coveted spot in the Women’s Fire Prep Academy. After successfully earning a spot, participants will train for the following five-consecutive Saturdays.
