DPSS NORWALK OFFICE CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL MOVE TO NEW LOCATION

The DPSS executive and management teams officially cut the ceremonial ribbon and toured the new Norwalk district office at the Norwalk Government Center on Monday. The office recently relocated from its former location at 12727 Norwalk Blvd. in Norwalk.

The new location at 12440 Imperial Highway, is now serving the public on the ground floor annex, which has been renovated to accommodate staff workstations, a cashier area, mail room, security space, interview areas/booths, and public lobby.

The executive and management teams also toured the 3rd floor of the adjacent building that houses DPSS staff from a variety of programs and sections, including Medi-Cal, CalFresh and CalWORKs.

Congratulations to the project team responsible for planning and carrying out the smooth transition and ensuring that the move was completed in a timely manner with minimal impact to DPSS staff and the public.
