 The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has partnered with the nonprofit Undue Medical Debt to provide medical debt relief for low-income County residents with unpaid medical bills.
Residents do not need to apply for the Medical Debt Relief Program. Those meeting the program’s eligibility requirement will receive a letter from L.A. County and Undue Medical Debt notifying them of their debt cancellation. Click here to learn more.

Alert LA County is an opt-in mass notification program utilized by the County of Los Angeles that allows individuals to receive emergency alerts by text, email, and/or phone call. It also has accessibility features for people with disabilities and others with access and functional needs.
The Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department establishes judgments for parentage, as well as establishes, modifies, and enforces orders for child support. The Department has more than 1000 employees, including over 86 attorneys, and in 2024, collected and distributed more than $512 million in child support. The department's core purpose is to ensure children thrive, with a mission of connecting with parents and caregivers to provide child support services.
