2025-26 Rent Registration Opens July 1

2025-25 Registration for the LA County Rent Registry Opens July 1. For more info, dcba.lacounty.gov/rentregistry

Attention Rental Property and Mobilehome Park owners:

Do you own rental property or a mobilehome park in unincorporated LA County? Starting July 1, the 2025-26 registration period for the LA County Rent Registry is officially open! 

Who Needs to Register?

If you rent out:

  • Residential units/properties
  • Rooms within rental units
  • Mobilehome spaces

You're required to register each year under the County's Rent Stabilization Ordinances.

Exemptions may apply for:

  • Owner-occupied properties
  • Homes destroyed by the January 2025 Wildfires
  • Other specific cases (visit our website or contact us to learn more)

How to Register:

  1. Visit Rent Registry
  2. Enter your Property Identification Number (PIN) to locate your property
  3. Update your contact and property details
  4. Submit your registration and annual rent registration payment by September 30, 2025 to avoid late fees

You can also register and pay your fees in person or by mail. For mailed or in-person payments, please contact us to confirm the exact amount due for registration.

Registration letters will be arriving by mail soon. Watch your mail box!
