The January wildfires took lives, homes, treasured keepsakes, and cherished historic landmarks in Altadena and Pacific Palisades, but the fires did not take our resilience, compassion, or commitment to helping eligible families connect to essential services.

DPSS stood side by side with Los Angeles County families affected by the Eaton, Hurst, and Palisades fires, refusing to let despair win and proving that no disaster is stronger than the power of a united, caring community.
