 PCH Remains Closed
A segment of PCH remains closed today to residents and businesses in burn scar areas due to the storm. Only emergency vehicles are allowed in closed areas. Caltrans and its partners are reassessing the situation today to determine when the highway may reopen to residents and businesses with passes.
Further road closure updates can be found from Caltrans here and LA County Public Works here.
An Ocean Water Quality Rain Advisory is still in effect until 4 p.m. Friday, March 14. Visitors to the beaches should avoid all water contact, especially near discharging storm drains, creeks, and rivers, during rainfall and up to 72 hours after. Potential beachgoers are also cautioned to avoid wildfire debris that may end up on the beach.
Check Your ROE Status – Signature May Be Needed
After you’ve submitted your Right-of-Entry form, if your property appears as “Additional Information Needed” with a note of "Other Issue Pending Property Owner DocuSign Signature" on the Right of Entry (ROE) Dashboard, check your email for a message from DocuSign with the subject line: "ACTION REQUIRED - Los Angeles County Right of Entry Document." This email notifies you that your ROE has been reviewed and requires your electronic signature and proof of identification to complete the submission.
To finalize your ROE, watch a step-by-step here and below to learn how to:
- Open the DocuSign email notification
- Complete the required fields
- Apply your electronic signature

Important: The name on your ID must match the name on your agreement for verification. If they do not match, contact 844-347-3332 or ROE@dpw.LACounty.gov to update your agreement.
If your name matches but the identification fails to verify, please retake the photo of your identification using the following tips:
- Use a smartphone or tablet camera (not a webcam)
- Place your ID on a solid, dark background
- Ensure good lighting and avoid glare or shadows
- Capture your entire ID
- Make sure barcodes are clean and visible
You have three attempts to verify your ID. If all fail, contact Public Works so a new agreement can be issued.
