JOIN US WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 22nd
The Probation Oversight Commission will host a town hall Wednesday, January 22nd dedicated to learning more about the Juvenile Transfer Motion Hearing process.
This process occurs when the District Attorney elects to ask the court to transfer the youth’s case from the juvenile system into the adult criminal system.
Invited Panelists:
- Representatives from the DA’s office
- L.A. County Probation
- L.A. County Public Defender
- Office of Youth and Community Restoration
An expert in juvenile criminal law will provide a foundational explanation of the law and changes to the law with Prop 57 and subsequent legislation.
