Metrolink’s Mobility-4-All Program is offering Metrolink tickets for free transfers on participating transit agency services in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties. The In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program is available to eligible seniors and individuals with disabilities receiving Medi-Cal with DPSS. IHSS can help with cleaning, grocery shopping, bathing, and scheduling doctor’s appointments. DPSS TOY LOAN AND L.A. CITY SANITATION TOY DRIVE

The DPSS Toy Loan Program, in partnership with Los Angeles Sanitation & Environment, is accepting new and gently used toys for children from under-resourced families at its public and employee drop-off facilities in L.A. County until August 30. All donations must be arranged in advance for pickup only. To schedule a time and date for a donation pickup, call (833) 8TY-LOAN or (323) 986-2741, and email ToyLoan@dpss.lacounty.gov.

The Bell Gardens Community Family Service Center will host a back-to-school resource fair at Bell Gardens Veterans Park on Saturday, August 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students in attendance will receive FREE school supplies, health screenings, community resources, and more.
