Do you need help applying for services? Visit Department of Public Social Services to learn about programs and services, eligibility requirements, and more. Apply for benefits online at BenefitsCal.com, and for in-person assistance, DPSS offices are open to the public Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. DPSS Customer Service Centers are available over the phone Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
BECOME AN IN-HOME SUPPORTIVE SERVICES PROVIDER
Are you interested in becoming an In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Provider? Complete the IHSS Provider Orientation online at IHSS Providers and How to Be a Provider (lacounty.gov) or in-person at an IHSS office. Get started today by calling the IHSS Helpline at 1-888-822-9622.

ATTEND THE CAREER & RESOURCE FAIR IN SAN PEDRO
Join the office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn for a Career and Resource Fair on Saturday, July 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Harbor Blvd. Promenade Park in San Pedro. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with potential employers, access valuable community resources, and network with professionals. No registration is required.
FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES & BACKPACK GIVEAWAY AT THE POMONA RESOURCE CENTER
Bring the entire family to kick off the new school year at the Pomona Community Resource Center’s Back to School event on Saturday, July 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Families will be provided one backpack per student, while supplies last. The Los Angeles County Youth Commission is inviting the next generation of leaders to share ideas on how the commission can support and develop effective policies, practices, and services important to young people in L.A.
