Helping Men Overcome Trauma

Commemorating National Men’s Health Month in June, our Bureau of Victim Services held a virtual Community Provider Forum to discuss how trauma affects men.

A panel of speakers discussed how trauma manifests in men and the key indicators to assist men in overcoming trauma. We provided resources specific to helping men tackle and overcome mental health challenges.

Celebrating the LGBTQ+ Community at LA Pride

District Attorney George Gascón and LADA participated in LA Pride, the largest Pride Parade in Southern California.

Pride Month is a time to honor the history of LGBTQ+ activism and the ongoing fight for social justice and equal rights. In consultation with our office's first-ever LGBTQ+ Advisory Board, we implement policies and best practices to advance the rights of LGBTQ+ Angelenos in all aspects of our work.
