Marina del Rey for All Update
Members of my team and I joined the Marina del Rey Lessees Association to hear directly from residents, share County updates, and discuss progress on the Marina del Rey for All initiative to support the Marina's success by making it more accessible and inclusive. Marina del Rey has the largest man-made small-craft harbor in the United States, home to over 5,000 boats. It continues to be a popular tourist attraction, which is why we discussed the need to help lessen heavy traffic around significant events, in addition to district-wide priority issues like addressing homelessness and keeping trash off the streets. My office is committed to transparent communication and collaborative solutions to ensure a more vibrant Marina for all community members. Thank you to the Marina del Rey Lessees Association for your partnership in this effort; your ongoing feedback is vital as we work towards these shared goals.
Celebrating our El Camino College Men’s Soccer Team Champions!

Spreading Love and Joy at Roosevelt Park & Hawthorne Senior Centers
|
|
I had the pleasure of joining the festivities on Valentine’s Day at Roosevelt Park and Hawthorne Senior Centers. It was heartwarming to see our seniors dancing and engaging with the various community resources offered by local organizations, and our county and state departments. In addition to accessing essential services, our seniors enjoyed activities from crafting beautiful flower bouquets to playing bingo. Thank you to everyone involved in making these events possible for our senior community, including the dedicated teams at Roosevelt Park and Hawthorne Senior Centers that provide our seniors with love, care, and essential services every day.
