Ocean Water Use Warning for Los Angeles County Beaches
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health cautions residents who are planning to visit the below Los Angeles County beaches to avoid swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters:
BEACH AREAS WARNINGS:
- Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro
- Zuma Creek at Zuma Beach
- Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica
- Pico-Kenter Storm Drain at Santa Monica Beach
- Herondo Street Storm Drain at Hermosa Beach
- Hermosa Beach Pier in Hermosa Beach
- Redondo Beach Pier in Redondo Beach
- Redondo Beach at Sapphire Street
- Abalone Cove in Rancho Palos Verdes
- Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey
These warnings have been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested.
