Los Angeles County Press Event Launching School Vaccinations for Children

LOS ANGELES – On Friday, November 5 at 4:00 p.m., officials from the County of Los Angeles, including Supervisor Holly Mitchell, Dr. Barbara Ferrer, Director of Public Health, and Dr. Debra Duardo, Superintendent of Schools for Los Angeles County, will host a media event kicking off school COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5-11 in Los Angeles County. Officials will be joined by representatives from St. John’s Well Child and Family Center and the Compton Unified School District.

Speakers will provide remarks about the new vaccine eligibility for children ages 5-11 and how children ages 5-11 can get vaccinated in Los Angeles County at schools.

A question-and-answer period will follow remarks.
