A Letter from Los Angeles County Board Chair & Supervisor Hilda L. Solis
Dear Friends,
What amazing progress we have made! We have now administered over 6 million vaccines in LA County, with nearly 4.4 million residents receiving at least one dose and over 2.2 million fully vaccinated. If we can keep this pace, then we are well on our way to meeting the Governor’s goal of opening by June 15.
To fully put this pandemic behind us, we’ll need to vaccinate as many people as possible. For those who still have some questions about getting vaccinated, I encourage you to reach out to your doctor to get accurate information. And for those who don’t have a healthcare provider, you can call 2-1-1 and be connected to one.
In the First District, I am partnering with several organizations and local health providers to bring more vaccine clinics to areas near you. Vaccine equity remains a top priority. You can find open vaccine sites for this weekend below, many of which do not require appointments.
You can also visit VaccinateLACounty.com to make an appointment or call 833-540-0473. Once you are vaccinated, tell a friend or family member to do the same so we can all come out stronger from this pandemic!
As we see a return of every day activities, please continue to practice safety measures like wearing a mask so we can continue to enjoy the activities that make LA County so special.
Thank you all for your incredible work in combatting this pandemic. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office. We are here to serve you.
Sincerely,
Chair Hilda L. Solis
Supervisor, First District
