WHAT: With this year’s fireworks shows now prohibited throughout Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) will join First District Supervisor Hilda Solis, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD), and other public safety partners to host a news conference, reminding residents that all fireworks are illegal in unincorporated Los Angeles County.
At this news conference, first responders will discuss the dangers associated with the use of fireworks as well as the fines that will be imposed on those who use, possess, sell, and manufacture illegal fireworks.
