Deputies, Family, Friends of Fallen Partner Joseph Solano Remember His Sacrifice During Procession

LA County Sheriff's Department Deputy Joseph Solano, who was fatally shot, was honored and remembered during a procession through the streets of Los Angeles on Saturday. Deputy Solano was escorted from the LA County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner to Calvary Cemetery, where he arrived around 10:30 a.m., surrounded by his fellow deputies.

2 Hikers Rescued from Vasquez Rocks Last Week, Hoisted Out by Air 5 Rescue Team

Around 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of two hikers at Vasquez Rocks on Escondido Canyon Road in Agua Dulce who suffered from heat exposure, said Sky Cornell, an inspector for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
