LASD Assists in Arrest of 2 Men Accused of Starting Brush Fire Near Glendora

The Morris Fire, which burned about a quarter acre, was reported shortly before 3 a.m. near the dam off San Gabriel Canyon Road, north of Glendora. It was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported.

Detectives Looking for Driver That Struck Deputy on Bicycle Patrol at Universal City Walk

The collision was reported shortly before midnight near the Buca di Beppo restaurant at Universal CityWalk, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff's West Hollywood station. The suspect drove away after the impact. The deputy was transported to a hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

Suspect Arrested After Taking Deputies Through South LA During Wild Pursuit and Foot Chase

A suspected car thief is under arrest after leading authorities on a wild chase that was caught on camera in South Los Angeles.
