SCORE Grow Your Business Workshop Series
 Looking to strengthen and grow your small business? Join the City of Jurupa Valley, in partnership with SCORE Inland Empire, for the Grow Your Business workshop series; a free, multi-week program designed to help entrepreneurs assess their business, set goals, and build strategies for long-term success. Topics include business assessment and goal setting, managing time and resources, marketing, increasing sales, financial management, and operations. The workshops will take place Tuesdays from 5:00–7:00 PM, February 24 through March 31, online or in person at Jurupa Valley City Hall (8930 Limonite Ave.). Mayor's Business Visitation Program

This month, the City of Jurupa Valley is pleased to highlight Goose Creek Golf Club as part of the Mayor's Business Visitation Program. Established in 1999, Goose Creek blends championship‑level golf with natural beauty, welcoming residents, visitors, and competitive players alike to experience one of Southern California’s most respected public golf courses.
Just this year, Goose Creek Golf Club was named the 2025 Golf Course of the Year by the Southern California Professional Golfers' Association. With immaculately maintained fairways and greens, the course has earned a reputation for quality conditions and thoughtful design. Its setting creates a peaceful yet dynamic experience that keeps golfers returning year after year.
The Nest at Goose Creek Golf Academy provides personalized instruction for golfers of all skill levels who are looking to elevate their game. Grand Opening - Indian Hills Optical Company

The City of Jurupa Valley is thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Indian Hills Optical Company, a locally owned eyewear shop built on experience, passion and deep community roots. Edward Alaniz, owner of Indian Hills Optical Company, brings over 20 years of experience in the retail eyewear industry and is a local resident to Jurupa Valley.
Indian Hills Optical Company offers quality eyewear, assistance with out‑of‑network insurance reimbursements, and a relaxed, customer‑friendly atmosphere complete with refreshments and music. The business aims to partner with insurance providers while keeping accessibility a priority.
With a long history of community involvement, including past work with the Lions Club, the owner plans to support local events, host vision screenings, and help strengthen small business connections throughout Jurupa Valley.

Upcoming Grand Opening
Serrano Oaks Townhomes
 DR Horton will be hosting a grand opening celebration for its Serrano Oaks Townhomes on Saturday, February 14th, from 10AM - 6PM. Serrano Oaks is located at 8571 Salcedo Way and will be showcasing its two-story townhomes, ranging from 1,500 to 1,600 sq ft. Community amenities include a tot lot, dog park, and a grilling area. Food will be provided from 11 AM – 1 PM by Hor-Hays Tacos.

Jurupa Valley and Think Together Job Fair
 On Friday, January 23, 2026, the City of Jurupa Valley partnered once again with Think Together, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality learning programs that support students within the Jurupa Unified School District, to host a successful hiring event in Council Chambers. The event took place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and welcomed more than 40 local job seekers.
As a result of the job fair, 16 employment offers were extended to community members, reinforcing the strength of Jurupa Valley’s workforce. Think Together commended the quality of the local talent pool and expressed sincere appreciation for the continued partnership and collaboration with the City.

Register Your Business
All businesses must register with the City of Jurupa Valley to obtain a Business Registration Certificate. Registering your business ensures your business is operating in the proper zone and is a permitted use. Businesses must also renew their business registration on an annual basis to remain compliant with the City of Jurupa Valley Municipal Code.
Businesses that are not physically located within the City limits may also be required to obtain a City of Jurupa Valley Business Registration Certificate if they are working within the City.

Retail Theft Prevention Program
 In partnership with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the City of Jurupa Valley launched a comprehensive Retail Theft Prevention Program to protect local businesses. This initiative provides small businesses with educational resources to protect their establishment. Retail theft costs businesses thousands each year and impacts community safety. By partnering with local law enforcement, businesses can reduce losses and create a safer shopping environment this holiday season! Jurupa Road Grade Separation Project
 The Jurupa Road Grade Separation Project will create a four-lane underpass on Jurupa Road under Van Buren Blvd. Upon completion, this underpass will significantly improve safety and traffic circulation for its users.

 MicroEnterprise Collaborative of Inland Southern California consists of a diverse coalition of community leaders dedicated to improving small business development in the Inland Empire and eastern Los Angeles County. The purpose of the MicroEnterprise Collaborative is to create and sustain businesses and jobs through micro-business development.

State & Federal Clean Energy Incentives
 The Office of Economic Development has launched a new Clean Energy Tax Incentives and Federal Programs webpage on RivCoED.org. This section of the webpage compiles a variety of state and federal incentives available to support clean energy innovation and sustainability efforts in Riverside County. These opportunities, including the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the California Energy Commission’s programs, provide a range of tax credits, grants, and funding options for businesses and entrepreneurs.
