City Manager's Message
October is here, and Jurupa Valley is buzzing with progress and celebration! From street improvements to community events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this month.
Our streets are getting a fresh look, with the Mission Boulevard Phase 3 Street Rehabilitation Project now underway, building on the recently completed improvements along Market Street. These projects are part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe, reliable, and attractive roadways for our community.
We are also thrilled to announce a fresh new look for the City! The public selected their top choice for the new City logo, which was approved by the City Council on September 4. This marks the start of an exciting transformation for the City’s communications and visual identity throughout Jurupa Valley. Be sure to join us for the grand reveal at our State of the City Event on Thursday, November 13—you won’t want to miss it!
Before then, we invite everyone to celebrate the season at the City’s Harvest Parade and Festival on Saturday, October 11. The parade will travel down Limonite Avenue, followed by fun festivities at City Hall. It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy our vibrant community and support local participants.
October is a month of progress, celebration, and community spirit. Thank you for helping Jurupa Valley continue to thrive! Enjoy this month’s issue.

City Celebrates National Preparedness Month
At its September 4 meeting, the City Council officially recognized September as National Preparedness Month, emphasizing the importance of emergency readiness for residents and businesses. The proclamation was presented to the City’s Emergency Coordinator Brice Bartlette, Cal Fire Riverside County Division Chief Tim Voight, and Riverside County Sheriff Lieutenant John Shulda. Celebrating Local Champions: Sportsmanship and Bravery
On September 18, the City Council celebrated two shining stars of our community!
The Jurupa Pony Baseball All-Star Teams were recognized for their dedication and sportsmanship during the 2025 tournament season.
Brothers Carlos and Vincent Garcia were honored for their quick thinking and bravery in helping tame a loose bull at Jurupa Valley High School—truly a lifesaving act!
Introducing Jurupa Valley’s New Logo
Jurupa Valley has a fresh new look! The community selected its favorite design for the City’s new logo, which was officially approved by the City Council in September.
Over the coming months, residents will see this new logo rolled out across the City—from street signage and webpages to official documents and other communications. This update marks an exciting step in creating a consistent and modern visual identity for Jurupa Valley while honoring the community spirit that makes our City unique.
