City Manager's Message
Dear Jurupa Valley Insider,
Happy New Year! As we begin 2025, I am pleased to share exciting updates with our community.
On December 19, 2024, the City Council welcomed Councilmember Veronica Sanchez and re-elected Councilmember Guillermo Silva. Their leadership will guide our City in the years ahead. The Council also selected Brian Berkson as Mayor and Chris Barajas as Mayor Pro Tem for 2025. Brian has served on the Council since 2014 and last held the Mayor’s role in 2019.
I also want to highlight the County of Riverside’s 2025 Point-In-Time Homeless Count, which starts January 22 in Jurupa Valley. Volunteers are needed—read the article below for more info on how you can help.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our community. I look forward to a year of collaboration and growth as we continue to work together to build a brighter future for Jurupa Valley.
Warm regards,
Rod Butler City Manager
