This new logo will symbolize the spirit and identity of Jurupa Valley, and your feedback is crucial in shaping our visual identity. Please take a few moments to participate in our survey and let us know your thoughts. Your input will help us create a logo that truly represents our community. Ongoing Construction and Improvements: Construction continues throughout the City, aimed at enhancing our infrastructure and making Jurupa Valley an even better place to live. The Jurupa Grade Separation project is progressing well, and we are also seeing significant improvements in our streets. These developments are part of our ongoing commitment to improving transportation and safety for all residents. Additionally, we added 80 vehicle license cameras to assist with our City’s Retail Theft Program and have introduced new ADU guidelines to facilitate more housing opportunities in our community.
National Night Out Event: We are pleased to announce our participation in the National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 6, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Vernola Park, a collaborative effort with our neighboring cities of Norco and Eastvale, along with Riverside County Sheriff. This event is a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together, strengthen community bonds, and meet local law enforcement officers and other first responders. Join us for a night of fun, community building, and safety awareness.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement in making Jurupa Valley a great place to live, work, and play. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and hearing your thoughts on our new City logo.

We need your valuable input to shape the future of our City's identity. Four logo concepts have been developed, and now it's time for the community to weigh in.

To ensure Jurupa Valley has a visual identity that resonates with our residents, reflects our history, and captures our unique character, we want to hear which logo you think best represents our community.
Whether you're a long-time resident, a newcomer, or someone with a deep love for our community, your opinion matters.

Newly-Installed Cameras Enhancing Community Safety
Have you noticed the black, solar-powered cameras along streets in your community? Automated License Plate Reader cameras have been popping up all over Jurupa Valley.
Through the new Retail Theft Program, 60 additional cameras were installed throughout the City in collaboration with the Riverside County Sheriff Department to combat and deter crime.
These advanced cameras can track license plates, partial plates, decals, and the make, model, year, or color of vehicles. The cameras can effectively monitor and track vehicles across Jurupa Valley and participating cities, aiding in the swift apprehension of those committing crimes.
This expansion represents our ongoing commitment to leveraging technology for enhanced community safety and security. For more information on the Retail Theft Program, visit the webpage: www.JurupaValley.org/RTP.

New Streamlined Process and Handbook for
Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Applicants
Jurupa Valley is thrilled to announce that our new Permit-Ready Accessory Dwelling Unit (PRADU) Plans are now available online! These plans are designed to make it easier for homeowners to add ADUs to their properties, providing more housing opportunities in our community.
The PRADU program offers residents four prototype plans (floor plans and elevations) for detached ADUs in studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom configurations. These pre-reviewed plans are available in three architectural styles: California Ranch, Cottage, and Mediterranean, with mirrored formats and optional detached garages.
The PRADU program aims to save some review time and cost for the homeowners as these plans are pre-reviewed and offered to homeowners at no cost to use the plans. The PRADU program does not include a site plan since each property varies.
The Applicant would need to prepare and submit a site plan with PRADU plans and other required application material. In addition to the PRADU plans, an ADU Handbook was developed to provide guidance on the ADU application process and is available in English and Spanish.

Jurupa Grade Separation Reaches Major Milestone - Bridge Opening in August
The Western Van Buren Boulevard bridge span is set to open in early August. Crews are finalizing grinding, paving, and striping on and near the western Van Buren Blvd. bridge span at Jurupa Road. This work will be behind k-rail barriers, ensuring no traffic impacts during this phase. Once complete, traffic will shift to the new bridge, with two lanes open in each direction. Motorists should expect traffic delays and reduced speed limits in the construction area.
