Housewarming for The Kelsey Ayer Station |
|
Board Member Preston Prince, who is also the Executive Director of the Santa Clara Housing Authority, represented CalHFA at today’s Housewarming event for The Kelsey Ayer Station, a 115-unit affordable housing development in the city of San Jose.
Approved for a loan through CalHFA’s Mixed-Income Program (MIP) in 2021, The Kelsey Ayer Station is an inclusive, affordable, accessible community that was developed in collaboration with The Kelsey, Sares Regis Group of Northern California, Devine and Gong, the City of San Jose, HCD and various private and nonprofit partners. The development has 25% of its units reserved for persons with disabilities.
MIP launched in 2019 following the passage of the Building Homes and Jobs Act, and in that time has provided financing to help construct 9,684 units of affordable housing at a mix of income levels.
Thank you for supporting CalHFA and our mission to invest in diverse communities with financing programs that help more Californians have a place to call home.
