SACRAMENTO — The Federal Housing Finance Agency has selected California Housing Finance Agency Executive Director Tiena Johnson Hall as one of 20 national housing thought leaders to serve on the organization’s inaugural Advisory Committee on Affordable, Equitable and Sustainable Housing.
According to an FHFA news release, the Advisory Committee will inform the organization’s policy development, rulemaking, and community and public engagement functions. FHFA oversees Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Home Loan Banks, and the committee will advise on issues related to both single family and multifamily housing.
“I am honored to represent CalHFA on this committee and thrilled to lend my knowledge and experience to discussions about the critical issues that homeowners, prospective homeowners and renters across the country are facing,” said Johnson Hall, who will serve a two-year term through 2026.
Earlier this year, Johnson Hall was also selected to the National Housing Conference’s National Advisory Council (NAC) and the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council, and she is currently serving on the National Council of State Housing Finance Agencies (NCSHA) Board of Directors.
