The Dream For All Shared Appreciation Loan Program will open its Voucher application web portal next week, on Wednesday, April 3^rd at 8:00 A.M. (PDT). Below are a few important details that we wanted to share.

1. No need to apply on the first day. The vouchers will be selected by a randomized lottery draw, so there will be no benefit to applying on day one. The voucher portal will be open from Wednesday, April 3^rd to Monday, April 29^th, so you have time to get everything ready.
   
   
2. Don’t wait until the last day, either. While you have time, it’s also important not to wait until the last day – there will potentially be documentation validations and other questions that come up during that application review process.
   
   
3. Get your required documents ready now. Rounding up those documents now will be a time saver when you go to apply. More importantly, the DFA Pre-Approval Letter must be filled out by an approved lender, so you’ll need to reach out to them before you can start the voucher application.
   
   
4. Watch your email for voucher system tasks and requests. Once you apply for a chance to receive a voucher, pay close attention to your email that you used to sign into the portal. If your application is missing documents, or our team needs to verify important information, we will need you to respond quickly.
   
   
5. There is NO guarantee. The funds are limited and this program has proven to be popular, so there will be a significant amount of applicants in the system for a limited number of vouchers.
   
   
6. Voucher results will NOT be announced immediately.  Prior to announcing the voucher drawing results, there will be a time period for validations and auditing. Depending on the accuracy of information received, and the amount of validations required, it may take several weeks before we can announce the selected voucher recipients. We understand that all applicants will be anxious to hear results, we will process these audits as fast as we can. Again, watch your emails closely, that is where you will be informed of the results.
