Updated Subordinate Loan Documents

CalHFA proudly uses the Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae Standardized Subordinate Lien Documents. These uniform documents bring clarity, efficiency and confidence to the legal documents securing DPA providers’ interests. CalHFA will implement these updated documents effective February 1, 2024.

All subordinate loan documents will be available immediately in the Closing Doc Wizard in MAS and on the CalHFA website. Electronic Word versions of these documents are also available via email by contacting LenderTraining@calhfa.ca.gov.
