Grand Opening for Mosaic on Mission

CalHFA Housing Finance Chief Steve Gallagher spoke today at the Grand Opening of Mosaic on Mission, a 140-unit affordable housing development in Hayward.

Approved for a loan through CalHFA’s Mixed-Income Program (MIP) in 2020, Mosaic on Mission was built through a collaboration with Meta Housing, CDLAC/CTCAC, the city of Hayward and various private partners.

MIP launched in 2019 following the passage of the Building Homes and Jobs Act, and in that time has provided financing to help construct 7.654 units of affordable housing at a mix of income levels.
