PLANNING COMMISSION

ZONING ORDINANCE UPDATE

The Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 7 p.m. to consider a Zone Text Amendment to Title 17 pertaining to Commercial Zones, a component of the comprehensive zoning update, IN-THE-ZONE.

At its meeting, the Planning Commission will conduct a study session, receive a presentation from staff, consider input from the public, and provide recommendations on several items including: commercial zoning districts; commercial uses; specific use standards regulating the operation and design of uses; and Temporary Minor Special Events.

The Planning Commission will also consider revisions to the Administrative Procedures and Processes component of the Zoning Code Update.

The Planning Commission meeting is open to the public and can be attended either in person or virtually, making it easy to participate.
