ZONING CODE UPDATE

The Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 7 p.m. to hold a public hearing to consider a Zone Text Amendment to Title 17 pertaining to administrative processes and procedures of the Zoning Code, as part of IN-THE-ZONE.

Processes and procedures serve as an important framework for the comprehensive zoning code update and establish regulations that are easy to understand and follow. "Processes" refers to the overall path followed during the review of a project, while "procedures" describes the specific steps taken at each phase of that process. 

During the meeting, the Planning Commission will receive a staff presentation, consider public input, and provide recommendations. The meeting is open to the public and can be attended either in person or virtually, making it easy to participate.
