Register for our upcoming COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic 4/21 💉
With 2nd boosters now available for residents 50 years of age and over who were boosted at least 4 months ago, we are hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at the Clark Building on Thursday, April 21, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. First and second doses along with boosters will be available for those 5 years of age and over. Register ahead and walk-Ins welcome.
To respond to the community’s desire for concerts on the beach, the City approved an amendment to the Fiesta Hermosa’s agreement with the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce to allow for three live beach concerts during the Memorial Day Fiesta Hermosa on a trial basis.
Monday, April 18 is Tax Day – Don’t Get Scammed 🧾
During his update to the Council on Tuesday night, Police Chief Paul LeBaron reminded us that Tax Day is also often marked by criminals to search for information to steal. We encourage everyone to safeguard their personal property, including anything with identifying information. If you’re expecting a tax refund, be diligent checking your mail and notify missing payments to the Franchise Tax Board and the IRS. See the rest of the update.

Did you know that we have had 794 consecutive days of drought since February 11, 2020? Despite heavy rain in December, the drought is not over. West Basin Water District is calling on everyone to reduce our water use by 15 percent, which works out to 20 gallons per person. Here’s how to get started.

We would like to thank the volunteers who continue to serve the community, including the volunteers on our Boards and Commissions, Community Advisory Groups, Volunteers in Policing, Neighborhood Watch, Hermosa Beach Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), our Community Garden volunteers, and all of those who serve others in our community every day.
