Welcome to the Library Reading Corner for April 2025
A Note from City Librarian Elizabeth Saucedo:
Welcome to April, library patrons! Spring is in full bloom and our libraries are abuzz with activity. At Goleta Valley Library, we have closed our doors for in-person service while we pack our collection and supplies for the move to our temporary home during construction at 6500 Hollister Avenue, which will open in early June. In the meantime, the book drops remain open and the Bookvan is a convenient way to pick up your holds, with additional stops added twice a week at the Goleta Union School District Office. Keep informed of all the project details through our webpage and social media, and view a copy of our April-May Calenda here to join us at engaging programs offsite in the community.
Buellton and Solvang Libraries have designed creative programs to expand your learning through science, entertain your creativity with scavenger hunts and crafts, and bring readers together through book club discussions.
We look forward to continuing to bring you high-quality service this month, whether from inside our cozy branches or out in the beautiful community – your libraries are here for you!
-Elizabeth Saucedo, City Librarian
