Nov. 3, US Half Marathon crosses GGB sidewalks; Temporary sidewalk closures in effect

On Sunday, November 3, up to 4,000 US Half Marathon runners will cross the Golden Gate Bridge sidewalks. To accommodate runners, BOTH GGB SIDEWALKS will temporarily close as follows (times are approximate):

East Sidewalk CLOSED from 5am to 9am
West Sidewalk OPEN from 5am to 6am & CLOSED from 6am to 9:30am

During these temporary sidewalk closures, a free shuttle will be available to bicyclists and pedestrians requiring access across the GGB. Shuttle stops are located on both sides of the Bridge - in the southeast parking lot on the SOUTH side and at the Alexander Ave off-ramp bus stop on the NORTH side.
