GGT service changes, effective Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020

REMINDER/UPDATED INFO:

Golden Gate Transit continues to modify bus service during the COVID-19 pandemic and, effective Sunday, December 13, 2020, will make additional schedule changes on all routes as follows:

  • Routes 4 & 18: Service suspended;
  • Route 27: Service modified to accommodate southern Marin riders;
  • Routes 27, 54 & 72: Northbound boarding stops modified in SF Financial District; 
  • Routes 30, 40, 70, 72 & 101: Number of trips and/or span of service reduced.

The table below details these changes and lists transit service alternatives. New bus timetables and maps will be available online soon.  

Please note, the suspension of service on Routes 2, 4C, 8, 24, 24C, 24X, 25, 38, 38A, 40X, 54C, 56X, 58, 72X, 74, 76, 92, and 101X will continue.

Route 4 to/from Mill Valley and Manzanita Park & Ride Service SUSPENDED

Route 27 – Service between San Rafael Transit Center (park & ride lots on Hetherton Ave between 3rd and Mission Sts), Hwy 101 bus pads, Manzanita park & ride lot, and San Francisco Financial District. 

Routes 30, 70 & 101 – Service between Hwy 101/Tiburon and Seminary bus pads (Routes 30 & 70), Hwy 101/Spencer Ave bus pad (Routes 70 & 101), Marin City (Routes 30 & 70), and San Francisco Civic Center. Transfer at GGB Toll Plaza or Richardson & Francisco for service to/from Financial District.

Golden Gate Sausalito & Larkspur Ferry – SB & NB commute trips in the morning and afternoon/evening.

Marin Transit – Connecting service to/from Golden Gate Transit. Visit marintransit.org or call 511 for routes/schedules and trip-planning assistance. 
Route 18 to/from College of Marin, Larkspur & Corte Madera Service SUSPENDED

Route 101 – Hourly service between Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Petaluma, Novato, San Rafael Transit Center, and San Francisco Civic Center. Transfer at GGB Toll Plaza or Richardson & Francisco for service to/from Financial District.

SMART – Service between Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Petaluma, and Larkspur. Connecting service to/from Larkspur Ferry. Visit sonomamarintrain.org for train timetables.

Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry – Commute service to/from San Francisco Ferry Terminal.
Route 101 to/from Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Petaluma, Novato, San Rafael Last late-night NB trip SUSPENDED

Routes 30 & 70 – Ride an earlier trip to/from Novato (Route 70), San Rafael Transit Center, Hwy 101/Spencer bus pad (Route 70), and San Francisco Civic Center.

Route 101 – Ride an earlier trip to/from Sonoma County, Novato, San Rafael Transit Center, Hwy 101/Spencer bus pad, and San Francisco Civic Center.
