A Message from the City Manager, Roubik Golanian
Welcome to 2025, Glendale!
As we step into a new year, we take pride in reflecting on the accomplishments of 2024 and looking ahead with determination and optimism. Together, we tackled challenges, celebrated successes, and laid a strong foundation for the future.
In 2024, the City of Glendale achieved several milestones like modernizing our power infrastructure ensuring reliable and sustainable energy for years to come. The Glendale Police Department will expand by 23 new officer positions, reaffirming our commitment to public safety and security for all residents and businesses. We secured a $5.95 million federal grant to enhance Central Park, providing more recreational opportunities and improving the quality of life for our community. And, all of our respective cultural celebration events have brought our community together, celebrating our city’s rich diversity and shared heritage.
These accomplishments are only a snapshot of a larger success story in 2024, one built on the collective effort, innovation, and resilience of our community. While challenges remain, we are confident in our ability to succeed for the residents and businesses of Glendale.
In 2025, we’re dedicated to improving our city even further—upgrading infrastructure, fostering community connections, and launching innovative projects that will make Glendale shine brighter than ever.
Take full advantage of what our city offers! Whether you’re signing up for swim lessons, getting a free library card, or enjoying our parks, there are countless opportunities for you and your loved ones to thrive.
