A Message from the City Manager, Roubik Golanian
As we step into November and the holiday season officially begins, there’s so much to be thankful for, and for me, that includes the wonderful Glendale community.
This month, we’re thrilled to bring you a variety of events and initiatives for you and your family to enjoy. Start off by visiting our free Health Fair on Saturday, November 2, at the Pacific Park Community Center, where the community can access free dental and optical screenings and other health services.
Next, we’re celebrating the Grand Opening of the Central Library Youth Spaces! The newly redesigned Children’s Space will feature vibrant, age-appropriate collections, a versatile programming area, and a cozy new reading nook for families to enjoy together.
The holidays are also a perfect time to give back and connect with our neighbors. If you’re looking to support those in need, consider volunteering with local organizations like Ascencia, right here in Glendale.
Finally, we’re excited to kick off our annual Cram-A-Classic Toy Drive! Bring a new, unwrapped toy to one of our Cram-A-Classic events and help Glendale Firefighters spread holiday cheer to underserved families in our community.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and dedication to making Glendale a strong, vibrant community. I hope this holiday season brings warmth and joy to you and your loved ones.
