Happy month of May, Glendale! Another fresh month ahead with exciting events and opportunities to connect in the neighborhood.
Firstly, we're kicking off May with the Small Business Summit, where local entrepreneurs and business owners can come together to network, share ideas, and learn from industry experts. This popular event aims to support and empower our small businesses, which are the backbone of our city's economy.
Next, lace up your sneakers for the Verdugo 10K Run and Hike! This annual event offers a scenic route through our beautiful trails, providing a perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while staying active.
For those in need of electric or gas bill assistance, Glendale Water and Power is offering an in-person application assistance event to assist residents in correctly submitting their applications. We understand the financial challenges many of our residents are facing, and this event is designed to provide support and guidance to those who need it.
Finally, don't miss out on Fire Service Day, where our firefighters will showcase their skills and equipment through exciting demonstrations while you enjoy a free pancake breakfast!
