The display was inspired by Inuit-created Inukshuk stone monuments found in the Arctic. Inukshuk made in the shape of a person signify safety, hope and friendship. The artist replaced the traditional stones with cardboard boxes to create the welcoming spirits of Adams Hill. The cardboard boxes were painted by neighbors who came together in the mini park to help bring life to all welcoming spirits. As in past years, this installation was created mostly from trash, including bottle caps, boxes, and glass crystals. The art display can be viewed at the Adams Square Park located at 1020 E. Palmer Ave., Glendale, CA 91205.
