The Galt Saturday Market is going retro for its "Rockin' in the Market" themed event on Saturday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Old Town Galt at 4th and C Streets.
Visitors can enjoy a fun-filled day featuring classic cars, 1950s-inspired entertainment, local makers, vintage-inspired finds, fresh produce, specialty goods, and delicious food vendors. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite 1950s attire and join in the fun.

This low-impact water aerobics program offers a comfortable and effective way to improve strength, flexibility, and overall wellness in an 80°F heated pool. Designed to support active aging, the class also provides an opportunity for participants to connect with others in the community.
Thanks to the generous support of Dan Dry Dock, the summer rate has been subsidized to just $5 per class.

The swim lesson program offers instruction for all skill levels, from beginner through advanced, with a focus on water safety, skill development, and building confidence in the water. Parent-Child Aquatics is also available for children ages 6 months to 3 years, introducing early water skills.

The Galt Area Historical Society presents “A Drive Down Memory Lane” Annual Car Show at McFarland Living History Ranch, located at 8899 Orr Road in Galt. The event features classic vehicles, along with vendors, food trucks, and tours.

Residents are encouraged to safely dispose of illegal fireworks ahead of the holiday season. Illegal fireworks may be brought to Fire Station 45 in Galt for safe disposal.

CAMP SOAR – School’s Out Academic and Recreation Program provides children with a fun and structured summer experience filled with creative activities, outdoor play, and opportunities for exploration and social engagement. Each week features a unique theme:

Registration must be completed in person. To register, visit the Parks and Recreation office located at 610 Chabolla Avenue, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The office is closed on Fridays and major holidays.
Program fees range from $45 per day to $165 per week. Registration is first-come, first-served, and space is limited.
