Event Details:
-
Doors open: 6:00 PM

Tickets for the free churro are first-come, first-served and must be picked up during the event. No holds or early pick-ups will be available.

Bring your friends and family for a fun movie night and a tasty treat. A special thank you to Aroma Bakery for helping make this event extra memorable.
The City has partnered with a local contractor to use goats for vegetation control at several City locations. This environmentally friendly approach helps clear overgrown vegetation, improves drainage, and reduces the risk of localized flooding during storm events.
Goats are particularly useful in sensitive areas where traditional vegetation management methods are restricted. Locations for grazing include Dead Man Gulch and other City-owned drainage areas.
To ensure the safety of both the goats and the public, temporary electric fencing will be installed, and a trained herder with working dogs will be on site to monitor the animals. Residents are welcome to observe the goats in action but are asked to respect the fencing and keep children from approaching the goats or the working dogs.
This innovative approach demonstrates the City’s commitment to safe, effective, and environmentally conscious solutions for managing our public spaces.
The upcoming City Council meeting will review Galt Municipal Code Chapter 8.20.110, “Unlawful Public Nuisances Declared,” which addresses parking and storage of boats, trailers, campers, motor homes, and other vehicles on residential properties.
In June, a community survey was conducted to gather feedback on current residential vehicle regulations. Join us to hear the results and participate in the discussion.
