Public Works Project Spotlight
West Valencia Drive Infrastructure from Magnolia to Gilbert
The project will include paving rehabilitation, curb, and gutter, new ADA access ramps, upgrading to video detection, sidewalk improvements, and sewer improvements. Construction is scheduled to commence on June 6, 2022, with an estimated completion date of July 22, 2022.
Street improvements are funded with the City's allocation of SB1 tax funds, while Sewer Enterprise Funds finance sewer improvements.

Public Works Ready and Resilient - National Public Works Week
This year marks the 62nd annual National Public Works Week! This year's theme is "Ready & Resilient," highlighting Public Works professionals who are always READY to serve our community and RESILIENT in the face of challenges. In this spirit, the City Council proclaimed May 15–21 as Public Works Week to recognize and celebrate the contributions of our Public Works staff to the health, quality of life, and well-being of the people of Fullerton. The Public Works Department supports infrastructure, facilities, streets, parks, fleet, water, sewer, airport, and other essential services and is vital in creating a sustainable and resilient Fullerton community. Star Wars Fun at the Fullerton Public Library
There's still time for Star Wars fun at the Library! Pick up a Star Wars paper-coding activity, a build-a-droid cutout craft, or some paper-folding fun at the children's desk through May. Also, on May 26th at the Fullerton Market Library Booth, attendees may pick up a Star Wars "Porg" craft kit. While supplies last, subject to availability! Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to sunset until August 28.

Sign up for AlertOC. With the recent Coastal Fire, a 3-alarm fire in Fullerton, and a year-long fire season in California, AlertOC can help keep you informed. AlertOC is a mass notification system used by the County of Orange and surrounding cities to alert you via phone, email, and text of a crisis or disaster and what actions you might need to take.
