Arbor Day Celebration - Recap
The City would like to thank the community members and partner groups that attended our 41st annual Arbor Day celebration and tree planting at Adlena Park. A fun, family-friendly event was enjoyed by all. We appreciate the community’s interest in our urban forest and we are proud to celebrate Fullerton’s trees and the Adlena community. Special thanks to our partner groups, West Coast Arborists (WCA), Cal State Fullerton, and Southern California Edison (SCE), for donating, coordinating, and volunteering their time and supplies.

Streetlight Outage Update
The City would like to update you on the recent streetlight outages in the West Hill/Dale, W. Malvern/Highland, and Evergreen neighborhoods:
West Hill/Dale
The outage was reported earlier this week and a City electrician conducted the investigation. The cause is thought to be a problem with the RO transformer that belongs to SCE (Southern California Edison). Edison has been notified and the City is waiting on the outcome of their investigation. At this time, we have not been provided with a timeline for the repairs, but we will update our website as more information becomes available.
Malvern/Highland
Earlier this week, City staff conducted an investigation to determine the cause of the outage. At this time, it has been determined that there is an issue on the City side of the conduit. The City is actively working to repair the problem. Repairs are anticipated to be completed this week or early next week.
Evergreen
The City is currently investigating reports of light pulsing and will be conducting tests this week to determine the cause.
For future updates and more information on the longer-term issues regarding the City’s high-voltage streetlight system, please visit our website: Street Light Out | Fullerton, CA (cityoffullerton.com).
