- Stay home if you are sick.
- Get tested 1-3 days before a family gathering or before any travel, even if you have no symptoms, and try again 3-5 days later upon returning home.

Stop the Flow Conserve H2O
On October 19, 2021, Governor Newsom expanded the drought emergency statewide to include Orange County. The Governor has also asked Californians to voluntarily reduce water consumption by 15%. One way for our residents to help save water as we head into the wet and color months is to cut back on outdoor irrigation. Outdoor irrigation can account for as much as 60% of residential water use. Tips to Keep Your Pet Safe this Thanksgiving
Here are a few Thanksgiving safety tips to keep your pets safe, healthy, and happy during the holiday.
Food: Did you know many thanksgiving treats are toxic to pets? Turkey skin, onion, raisins, grapes, chocolate, artificial sweetener, yeast dough, and fatty foods are toxic to dogs and cats and can cause fatal health conditions. Keep furry friends away from the table!
Parties and Guests: Although celebrations may be different this year, we encourage pet owners to include their pets in their holiday planning. If you know your pet gets anxious or over-excited around guests, consider keeping them in a separate room with food, water, and their favorite toy. Celebrating virtually or with the people you live with is the safest choice this Thanksgiving.
Travel: If your holiday plans include traveling elsewhere for multiple days, make sure you've made the proper accommodations for your pet. Consider boarding them at the pet hotel or hiring a trusted friend to care for your pet every day while you're gone.
