 Fremont Ranked No. 1 Best City to Raise a Family
The City of Fremont ranked No. 1 as best place to raise a family in the country for three consecutive years according to a recent study conducted by Wallet Hub. Fremont offers the perfect spot to settle down – with its family-friendly attractions and strong business presence, Fremont truly has it all.
 Fremont’s 2024 State of the City Address
If you want to learn more about the issues and opportunities facing the City of Fremont, stay tuned! Fremont Mayor Lily Mei will be presenting the annual State of the City Address on Wednesday, June 26, at 10:00 am at the Fremont Downtown Event Center, located at 3500 Capitol Ave. The event is free and open to the public (no ticket required). The Fremont Chamber of Commerce is hosting this event.
In case you can’t make it, the State of the City Address will be rebroadcasted on Fremont Cable TV Channel 27, as well as posted to the City website by the end of the following week.
At next week’s City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, which begins at 7:00 pm, the meeting agenda will include the following items and more:
- First Public Hearing on Fiscal Year 2024/25 Proposed Operating Budget Public Hearing: (Please note the MyFremont Budget Survey will remain open until Monday, June 3 at 5:00 pm. Comments received on MyFremont will be shared with the City Council as part of the Council Agenda.)

25th Anniversary FRC Resource Fair
Join us Friday, June 7, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm as the Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC), consisting of 23 social service agencies, hosts a family-friendly resource fair in celebration of their 25th anniversary. In addition to community resources, there will be prizes and giveaways, free health screenings, kid activities, a bounce house, and more. The event will take place in the FRC parking lot at 39915 Liberty St. Fremont Street Eats will occur next door at the Downtown Event Center, so people can conveniently enjoy both events. Fremont Pride Fair
The City of Fremont Human Relations Commission and Fremont Main Library are teaming up to host the first-ever Fremont Pride Fair, celebrating and supporting our LGBTQIA+ community. This family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, June 15, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Fremont Main Library, located at 2400 Stevenson Blvd. The event will feature resource tables from organizations across the Bay Area, live performances, informative panels, music, games, and a food truck.
