Reminder: Traffic Signal Switchover in Fremont/Grimmer Area This Saturday
A traffic signal switchover at two intersections in Irvington (Fremont Blvd./Grimmer Blvd. and Fremont Blvd./Eugene St.) is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday, April 20 beginning at 7:00 am. During this time, intersection traffic signals will be turned off and intersections will be controlled by stop signs. Some turning restrictions and detours may be in place to minimize delays for through-traffic on Fremont Boulevard. If possible, please avoid driving through the intersections on the day of the switchover to avoid these delays. Thank you for your patience while the City works to modernize traffic signals as part of the Fremont Boulevard Complete Streets Program.
