Explore Fremont's Enhanced Homeless Response Information
In recent years, Fremont and the entire Bay Area has experienced a rise in homelessness, which is why homeless response remains a top priority for the City. To enhance community engagement and keep our residents informed about the City's efforts to address homelessness, we have updated the Homeless Response section on our Fremont.gov website. This section includes new information on encampment response, a year in review report detailing the level of service required to address homelessness, a new story series highlighting Fremont’s unhoused residents, and more. We encourage community members to check out these resources on our website to stay informed on the City’s response to homelessness. We look forward to continuing to update the website to increase our transparency and activity around the City’s efforts.
In addition to the updated website, the City is also in the process of developing a Homelessness Response Plan for Fremont. For more information and to take our community survey, visit MyFremont.
 New Emergency Preparedness Resources
Check out our new Emergency Preparedness webpage, and Earthquake and Wildfire Preparedness subpages on the City's website. These new webpages are user-friendly and offer many resources for community members. Also, within the Emergency Preparedness section, community members can find information about evacuations and hot weather/cooling centers. The launch of these webpages coincides with this week’s anniversary of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and the Great Shakeout worldwide earthquake drill.
