September 15 through October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month! Fremont is celebrating by raising a ceremonial flag outside of City Hall biennially in honor of the generations of Hispanic Americans, Latinos, Latinas, and Latinx-identifying people who have enriched our society through their many achievements. This aligns with City Council’s February 2023 decision to rotate through 11 flag observances on a biennial basis to ensure all observances are celebrated equally.
